This week I had the week off for my birthday, D also had it off so we have been doing lots of things this week. We went shopping in Bath and had lunch in the cozy club which is lovely and I recommenced going as the food is really good. I had a halloumi panini with hummus and skin on fries and it was delish!
I used my birthday money and bought myself a pair of jeans and six tops from H&M for £40! bargain!!
I’ve been doing a bit of crafting this week as well, which has been so nice, as I decided just to do things for me and D this week, rather than things for the stall so I have been doing my chevron blanket.
I’m so pleased with how it is turning out. I’ve hardly touched on the pack of yarn really which is great, but I bought a second lucy pack so I should have enough now to complete it.. I’ve also been making more of my caponcho, and I have used up one ball of my hand dyed wool so far, and have two left to go.
I also finished off my first ever needle felting project.. how cute?!
I really enjoyed doing needle felting and I will be doing more in the future, that’s for sure. If you haven’t given it a go, I definitely recommend it.
I also fitted in a run this week, which is my first one in quite some time. I was full of cold and it was pretty hot but I went along the canal and through the fields near my house so it was lovely just to get out in the fresh air, even if I did feel like my lungs were about to collapse!
I’ve also managed to do a bit of sunbathing on the trampoline, it was so relaxing just lying there reading my book. I’m reading about 4 books at the moment, but the main ones that seem to have my attention are the Stephen Leather Jack Nightingale series. They are about an ex Policeman who investigates cases of the supernatural kind. I’m on the 4th book at the moment and I pretty much can’t put them down.
I hope you have all had good weeks and are looking forward to the weekend.
